Overview
This website works without cookies, without tracking, without analytics tools and without embedded third-party content. Personal data is processed in only two places: when the pages are technically delivered (hosting) and when you get in touch by email or phone. Both are described below.
Hosting, delivery and server logs
The website is operated and delivered through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare provides the runtime environment, delivery and name resolution (DNS). When you visit, Cloudflare automatically processes technical access data such as IP address, time of the request, requested address and browser identifier. This is required for delivery and for defending against attacks; the legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). According to Cloudflare, the application's operational logs (Workers Logs) are retained for three days on the plan in use (“Workers Free”) and then deleted; they are not combined with other data and not used to analyse visitors. Cloudflare acts as a processor under its published Data Processing Addendum. Data may also be processed in the USA; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as a fallback.
Contact by email or phone
If you get in touch by email or phone, your details (such as name, email address, phone number and the content of your message) are processed in order to answer your inquiry. The legal basis is taking steps prior to entering into a contract or performing a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and for other inquiries the legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providing these details is voluntary, but without them the inquiry cannot be handled. Email is provided through Microsoft 365; the contracting party and processor is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. For the Microsoft 365 core online services of this account, Microsoft shows Austria as the committed geography. Processing in the USA cannot be ruled out; Microsoft is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and additionally uses the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Your inquiry is deleted once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply (for example under Section 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code for business-relevant records). Phone calls are not recorded.
Contact form
The contact form is still a work in progress. If you are interested, please write directly to office@hoamatweb.site. The form shown on the contact page is disabled: it cannot be submitted, transmits nothing and stores nothing. Before it goes into operation, this policy will be updated to reflect the actual processing.
Cookies and local storage
This website stores nothing on your device. No cookies are set, neither its own nor third-party ones, and no analytics, tracking or marketing technologies are used. localStorage, session storage and IndexedDB are not used either (browser-verified, as of October 2026 – the check is part of this website's automated tests). As there is therefore no storage of, and no access to, information on your device, no consent under Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG 2021) is required; a consent banner is therefore not used. This assessment describes the current configuration and is re-examined whenever functionality changes.
Fonts, images and external content
Fonts and images are served by this website itself. Opening the website creates no connection to image platforms, font services, map services, video portals or social networks.
Data security
All data is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS). The website is built statically and has no user accounts, no login and no database of visitor data.
No automated decision-making
There is no automated decision-making and no profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). No consent is obtained on this website, so there is nothing to withdraw. To exercise your rights, write to office@hoamatweb.site. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at, www.dsb.gv.at.
